Known as
Panama’s most beautiful thoroughfare, this coastal roadway
spans, most prominently from Punta Paitilla to San Felipe. This
portion of Avenida Balboa is the focus of many photographs and
postcards, eliciting a Miami-like vista. Avenida Balboa is also
in the process of being renovated over the coming years. Its
palm trees, beautiful roundabout parks, and tall sky scrapers
make for a picturesque stroll at night or jog during the day. It
is home, most exclusively to, several hotels, apartment
complexes, restaurants, and office buildings.
