Los
Pozos is one of the districts that make up the province of
Herrera, located in the republic of Panama.
The district of Los Pozos is composed of nine
towns: Los Pozos, Capurí, El Calabacito, El Cedro, La Arena, La
Pitaloza, Los Cerritos, Los Cerros de Paja and Las Llanas.
As it is with several of the districts
in the province of Chitre, Los Pozos is very proud of its
Panamanian heritage and as such you will see much pre-Columbine
architecture and inherently Panamanian practices and
festivities.
